Looking for a fun & different activity class for you and you little one?

Come and take a look at Talking Tots. We're fairly new on the pre-school class circuit and we're completely different from anything you may have come across before.

We offer fun filled weekly sessions that will help your little one to get chatting and develop great communication and social skills.

Chatter matters! We help children develop their skills through:

★ developing listening and remembering skills

★ enjoying cooperating & playing within a group

★ developing & expanding vocabulary and expressive language

★ playing with words and sorting them in to categories

★ encouraging group listening and attention skills

★ gently supporting social confidence

★ games to introduce early word building

No two sessions are the same - although the structure each week is the same

( and we all know children thrive on structure & routine!).

We're delighted to be a finalist in the 2011 What's on 4 Junior Awards!

The finalists for the prestigious What's On 4 Junior 2011 Awards have just been announced - and we're amongst them!

The awards, in association with Konfidence and as supported once again by Prima Baby & Pregnancy magazine, are now in their fifth year and celebrate the best activities across the UK, as nominated and voted for by parents. Talking Tots is a finalist in the Best Exported Activity for Children category, meaning that they we in the top few groups in the UK as voted for by parents.

We've got a Healthy Eating Kitchen and Market Stall (RRP £110) to give away!

Play is an essential part of development and research shows it's vital to ensure children reach their full potential in life. Play helps children make sense about the world around them by acting out and exploring every day situations.

Role play involving different characters will allow you to introduce lots of new related language and stretch your child's imagination and creative play skills and will have a positive effect on speech and language development. Your child's social skills will also benefit because they will be using eye contact, turn-taking and listening skills.

Value your child’s imagination – a simple carboard box can be a house, a car, a space ship …. The possibilities are endless!

Although you don’t need to have formal toys for your child to enjoy social play, we have discovered the fabulous Millhouse Healthy Eating Kitchen and Market Stall. It also encourages children to grow and learn about food in a fun way.
